APPRENTICE PROGRAM INFO
Culinary Apprentice through American Culinary Federation Inc. and Red Rocks Community College
Students in the American Culinary Apprenticeship Program are actual employees who get paid for their hours of work, in addition to working towards a degree. Classroom hours are completed one day a week in Denver where students learn about food safety, nutrition and management; with the rest of your time onsite at Picnic Basket. At the programs completion each chef will have dedicated paid work hours to the program, rotating to all stations. This program runs for 3 years. Students will attend an orientation before joining the program and receive certifications from the American Culinary Federation, U.S. Department of Labor and Bureau of Apprenticeship upon completion.
